Shipping Policy – YKINGS4X4 (Australia)
This Shipping Policy outlines how Big Sam and Sons Pty Ltd T/A YKINGS4X4 (ABN 14651442723) (“YKINGS4X4”, “we”, “us”, “our”) handles the shipping, dispatch, delivery, and insurance of all products purchased through our store or website www.ykings4x4.com.au.
We are committed to processing all customer orders in a timely and efficient manner. Orders are processed from oldest to newest, with most orders dispatched within 1–2 weeks, though during peak periods, processing may take up to 4–6 weeks.
1. Domestic Shipping
Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
Once goods have left our warehouse, YKINGS4X4 is not responsible for any delays caused by freight carriers.
For pre-order items, additional time may be required due to overseas shipping and customs clearance.
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.
Bulky Items (Trays & Canopies)
Due to their size and weight, Trays and Canopies cannot be delivered to residential addresses.
Orders will be delivered to the nearest local freight depot for pickup.
If tailgate delivery is required, additional charges apply as set by the freight company.
Business addresses with forklift access must be clearly provided to ensure accurate delivery quotes.
2. Delivery, Dispatch, and Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking details within 24 hours.
If shipment is delayed, we will contact you to provide an updated timeframe or offer store credit.
Any change to your delivery carrier or location must be requested in writing to [email protected] before dispatch.
Store pickup orders must be collected within 10 business days of the “Ready for Collection” email.
Uncollected orders will be deemed abandoned, automatically cancelled, and refunded as store credit only.
3. Lost or Missing Deliveries
If your dispatched order does not arrive:
You must complete a Statutory Declaration confirming non-receipt.
Investigations with freight carriers may take up to 30 days.
YKINGS4X4 reserves the right to approve or decline replacements based on investigation results.
4. Damages and Claims
Customers are encouraged to add Freight Product Cover at checkout to protect against loss or damage.
All damage must be reported within 24 hours of receiving goods.

Claims lodged after 24 hours will not be accepted.
Minor cosmetic scratches or marks that occur during transport are not covered, as YKINGS4X4 ensures all products are securely packaged and strapped on pallets.
If damage is verified:
YKINGS4X4 will assist with lodging a claim with the freight carrier within 3 business days.
Compensation or replacement may take 10–30 business days, depending on the carrier’s review.
5. Freight Product Cover (Optional Insurance)
5.1 Overview
Freight Product Cover is an optional insurance offered by YKINGS4X4 to protect against damage, loss, or theft during transit within Australia.
The cost is 10% of the product value (excluding shipping).
5.2 Coverage Includes
Products lost, stolen, or severely damaged in transit (damage exceeding 60% of value).
Products rendered unusable and beyond repair due to freight damage.
5.3 Not Covered
Products damaged by the customer or installer.
Minor scratches, dents, or normal freight marks.
Manufacturing faults (covered under Warranty Policy).
Late claims beyond 24 hours after delivery.
Damage caused by natural disasters.
5.4 Claims Process
To make a claim under Freight Product Cover:
Notify YKINGS4X4 within 24 hours of delivery by emailing to [email protected]
Provide supporting documentation and photos within 3 days if requested.
YKINGS4X4 may replace, repair, or compensate depending on the case.
Claims may take up to 60 days to finalise, depending on carrier response and documentation timing.
5.5 Limitations
Freight Product Cover applies only within Australia.
Maximum YKINGS4X4 liability under this cover is the product purchase price plus up to $10,000 in freight recovery costs.
The remedies provided under this policy are final and exclusive.
6. International Shipping
Currently, YKINGS4X4 does not ship outside Australia.
